Golden Eagle Tracksters Continue To Show Improvements

BATON ROUGE,
Dijana Kojic posted her second straight first-place finish in the 800 meters with a time of 2:17.35. The Lady Eagles picked up a seventh-place finish from Alisha Edwards with a time of 2:27.81. Tanika Liburd finished eighth in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.65 and posted a fourth-place finish in the long jump with a jump of 19?3.50?. Naomi Kiprotich finished first in the one-mile run with a time of 5:07.74. Angela Johnson ran a time of 25.89 in the 200 meters, finishing fifth. Adriane Battle took fifth-place in the 400 meters with a time of 1:00.99 and Candi Johnson was seventh with a time of 1:01.90. Raquel Washington posted a time of 8.49 in the finals of the 60-meter hurdles, finishing third. Aaliyah Shareef was fourth in the triple jump with a jump of 38?9?, and Lexi
The distance medley relay team of Becca Rop, Kojic, Edwards and Cassandra Goodson took first-place with a time of 12:32.46. The 4x400 meter relay team (Battle-Kasey House-Candi Johnson-Jocelyn Young) was third with a time of 3:59.63.
On the men?s side, Durran Dunn finished sixth in the 200 meters with a time of 22.82. Cornelius Duncan was sixth in the 400 meters with a time of 50.76. C. J. Collier finished eighth in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.33. The 4x400 meter relay team finished third with a time of 3:24.14.
