Gulfport-Biloxi Station Adds Golden Eagle Hotline
HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Radio Station WXBD-AM (1490) in Gulfport-Biloxi has joined the Southern Miss ISP Sports Network as the new home for "Golden Eagle Hotline" on the Gulf Coast.
The popular hour-long call-in show featuring head football coach Jeff Bower (and new men?s basketball coach Larry Eustachy beginning in December) originates lives from Garfield?s restaurant in Hattiesburg on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:00. WXBD?s first broadcast will be tomorrow (September 14).
?We are pleased to add WXBD to our radio affiliate list for Golden Eagle Hotline,? Owen Shull, general manager of the ISP Sports office in Hattiesburg, says. ?This show is a favorite of Southern Miss fans everywhere and we are excited to have found a home for it in such an important market.?
Live play by play broadcasts of Southern Miss football and basketball are available in the Gulfport-Biloxi area on WAOY-FM (91.7).
