Southern Miss Ends Home Schedule With A Loss

Southern Miss fell to 14-10 overall and 2-9 in league play while
Freshmen Deondra Carter and Michelle Poindexter paced the Lady Eagles with 11 points each. Sara Nord led the visitors with 19 points followed by four other Lady Cardinals in double figure scoring with Angel Bradley's 13, Jessica Huggins scored 12, Kim Graham had 11 and Jazz Covington chipped in 10 points.
"We started off better today than we did on Friday night," Head Coach Rick Reeves said. "We continue to struggle with our shooting at times. We get good looks, we just don't finish. I thought we allowed too many offensive rebounds for them (
Southern Miss opened the game with a 7-2 lead, but
Southern Miss scored the first four points of the second half in
