Bower Pleased With Practice For Wyndham New Orleans Bowl
The team has done other things besides practice. Saturday night, the team went and enjoyed several hours at Six Flags, and several players visited the New Orleans Children hospital today.
The Golden Eagles will attend the Coaches Award Luncheon on Monday afternoon before going through a final practice at the Superdome in the late afternoon.
Head Football Coach Jeff Bower said the focus of the week is on
?They?ve won four-straight Conference Championships,? Bower said. ?They?re familiar with the New Orleans Bowl. They?ve been here three-straight years. They?ve also won seven-consecutive games, so we have a lot of respect for them.?
Bower said the team will need to play with a lot of passion to win the game.
?We?ve got to play hard,? Bower said. ?We found out that we?re not real good when we don?t play with some emotion. We need to be excited about playing. This football team needs a win to close out our year. It?s critical that we do all we?ve got to do to play well enough to win this game.?
