Lady Eagles Play at Future C-USA Opponent UCF

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- Southern Miss hits the road for a game at future Conference USA member UCF, on Friday, Nov. 26 at 11 a.m., central.
Southern Miss (1-1) is coming off a 79-65 win over Arkansas-Little Rock in its home opener. Freshman Shannon Stueber led the Lady Eagles in scoirng with a game-high 25 points. Liz Biland had 19 points on 9-of-10 shooting, Deondra Carter scored 14 and Kimberly Rigg added 10 points. The Lady Eagles shot an impressive 59.6 percent from the field and 87 percent from the line.
UCF comes into the game with a 1-1 record, following a 52-46 loss at Northern Arizona on Monday. In that game, Takira Allen was the lone player to score in double figures with 18 points. Jeralynn Campbell pulled down seven rebounds.
Following the game at UCF, Southern Miss returns home to host the Lady Eagle Classic. Teams included in the tournament are Columbia, American and Austin Peay.
