Canudas Receives All-Conference Honor

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Southern Miss men's tennis player David Canudas received third team, All-Conference USA honors as voted on by the league's 12 head coaches.

Canudas, a sophomore, finished the 2002-03 season with a 16-14 record at No. 1 singles, including a 9-9 dual match record during the spring season. He is one of five letterwinners returning for next season.

Tulane's Michael Kogan earned his third straight C-USA Player of the Year award, while Green Wave head coach Robert Klein picks up his third Coach of the Year honor. Jhonny Berrido of Louisville wins the league's Freshman of the Year award.
