Golden Eagle Tennis Teams Falls to No. 57 South Alabama
MOBILE, Ala. - The Southern Miss men's tennis team lost at No. 57-ranked South Alabama, 5-1, Sunday afternoon at the Bruce David Lubel Memorial Courts in Mobile. Southern Miss falls to 8-10 on the season.
South Alabama won five of the six singles matches. The doubles were not played. Marc-Olivier Lux outlasted USA's Alex Piskunova, 5-7, 7-6, 10-3 at No. 6 singles for the Eagles' only point.
Southern Miss concludes the regular season, Saturday against No. 16-ranked Tulane, before heading to the Conference USA Tournament, April 16-19, in Milwaukee, Wis.
