Baseball Ranked As High As No. 23 In Latest Poll
Hattiesburg, Miss. - The Southern Miss baseball team broke into Baseball America's Poll at No. 23, moved up No. 29 in the USA Today Coaches Poll and dropped to No. 29 in Collegiate Baseball's Poll this week, after posting a 3-2 record last week, including two wins over No. 19 Tulane.

Other Conference USA teams also receiving votes in the USA Today Coaches Poll are UAB and Tulane.

Southern Miss (20-8, 7-2 Conference USA) returns to action Wednesday in Hammond, La., against Southeastern Louisiana at 6:30 p.m. The Golden Eagles travel this weekend, Apr. 4-6, to Cincinnati for a three-game Conference USA weekend series. Friday's game begins at 2 p.m., Saturday's at Noon and Sunday's at 11:30 a.m.
