Golden Eagle Tennis Team Defeats St. Johns
IRVINE, Calif. ? The Southern Miss men?s tennis team posted its second victory in the 24th Annual UC Irvine Anteater Classic, defeating St. John?s, 5-2.
With the win, Golden Eagles improved to 7-9. Southern Miss won two of the three doubles matches, capturing the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and No. 3.
The Golden Eagles tacked on four more points, winning at No. 1, No. 3, No. 5 and No. 6 singles. Southern Miss concludes the tournament, playing Southwest Missouri State scheduled for a 1 p.m. ,PT start.
