Southern Miss Blanks Montana State-Billings, 6-0
LAS VEGAS - Rain washed away Saturday's semifinal play at the 2003 Rebel Classic, which is taking place at the Fertitta Tennis Complex, but the Southern Miss Golden Eagles shutout Montana State-Billings before the rains interrupted play.
The only other match completed during the morning round was Sacramento State defeating Weber State, 4-2. However, the matches between No. 60 Ball State and No. 65 Central Florida as well as San Francisco vs. host UNLV, were postponed until Sunday. If weather permits, the third and final round will also take place Sunday.
Semifinals are scheduled to begin immediately after the morning matches with the final round immediately after that, weather permitting.
