Lady Eagles travel to Arkansas-Little Rock
HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- The Southern Miss Lady Eagles travel to
Southern Miss, 10-0 for the first-time ever, defeated Centenary, 74-54, on Dec. 21. Tierra Lassiter and Michelle Poindexter recorded double-doubles in that game. Lassiter had 17 points and 10 rebounds while Poindexter had 15 points and 10 rebounds. Denise Wilson came off the bench to score 14 points and Allison Story added 10 points
Carter continues to lead Southern Miss in scoring at 14.2 points per game and Poindexter leads the team in rebounding at 8.3 rebounds. As a team, Southern Miss is averaging 61.8 points and 41.9 rebounds per game, while holding its opponents 47.2 points per game.
