SouthernMiss.com: What is it that the team looks forward to when they go to a bowl game?
Paul: It?s a lot of different stuff. The people, the atmosphere and the different events that they have are all great. We do a lot of different things. Being here with the team and just being able to play in a bowl game is a good feeling.
SouthernMiss.com: How good does it feel to be able to cap off your senior season with the Conference USA championship and the Liberty Bowl appearance?
Paul: It feels great to be here in our last year. To play in the Liberty Bowl as our last game almost makes it the perfect season. If you take a couple of games away, it would have been a perfect season. It feels good that we still accomplished the goal of being champions of our conference. We are here, and we are excited.
SouthernMiss.com: Is it tough to concentrate on preparing for the game because of all the festivities surrounding the bowl game?
Paul: It?s not really tough because this has been our goal the whole season. We have been focused on it from day one. Now we are getting closer and closer to playing in that last game.
SouthernMiss.com: What do you need to prepare for against
Paul: They run a lot of different schemes and a lot of different formations. We just have to prepare for them and be disciplined and play hard.
