Lady Eagle Basketball Team Adds Sixth Player

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Southern Miss women's basketball Head Coach Rick Reeves announced the signing of Kansas product Kalee Silovsky of Topeka, Kan., to a National-Letter-of-Intent during the early signing period.

Silovsky, a 6-0 guard/forward, averaged 15.9 points and 5.2 rebounds per game as a junior at Hayden High School. She received first team all-league and all-city honors. She was a two-time city player of the week honoree, and named to several all-tournament teams as well. She helped her team finish with a 23-3 record and the state runner-up last season. She was named to the second team all-state team.

"Kalee is a 6-0 guard who has the versatility to play multiple positions," Reeves said. "She comes from a strong AAU program that has produced several Division I players. Kalee is also an outstanding student. We look forward to having her as a part of the Golden Eagle family next year."
