Lady Eagle Basketball Team Lands Prep Standout HATTIESBURG, Miss. -
Jackson, a 6-0 forward, plays at Centreville Academy, where she averaged 15.0 points and 9.0 rebounds as a junior for Coach John Brashier. She was named to the Natchez Democrat all-metro team. She received first team all-district honors as a junior and second team honors during her sophomore season. She was voted her team's best defensive player as a sophomore and her team's best offensive player last season. She helped her team advance to the state playoffs last season.
"Jenae is one of the best post players in the state of Mississippi," Reeves said. "Her size and quickness allow her to be a scoring threat with her back to the basket or from the perimeter. With both of her parents being Southern Miss graduates, Jenae was born to be a Golden Eagle. She was impressive each time we saw her play, but particularly so while competing at our summer camp."
