Lady Eagle Basketball Team Inks Texas Standout HATTIESBURG, Miss. -
Stueber, a 5-11 forward, plays at The Colony High School, where she averaged 20.0 points and 9.0 rebounds, while shooting over 50 percent from the field for Coach Derrick Osborne. She was named newcomer of the year, received the best offensive award, helped her team advance to the second round of the state playoffs and received numerous other all-tournament honors over the past two seasons.
"Shannon is an exciting player to watch," Reeves said. "She averaged over 20 points in one of the toughest leagues in Texas. Her versatility as a guard allows her to be able to create her own shot or be a spot-up shooter. She brings a quiet and confident demeanor to the court, but don't let that be mistaken as anything but being focused on the game. She had SEC and Big 12 programs recruiting her. We are excited about her being a part of our Golden Eagle program and feel she will have a large impact."
