CHICAGO, Ill. - The annual college preview issue of Baseball America has hit the newsstands and the publication contains an extensive preview section of Conference USA in the issue. Below are some of the excerpts from the issue, which is dated as Feb. 16.
Conference USA is rated as the nation?s fifth-ranked league, trailing the ACC (1), Pac-10 (2), SEC (3) and Big 12 (4). C-USA was ranked fifth in last season?s RPI report.
Juniors Brad Sullivan of Houston and Michael Aubrey of Tulane were named first team All-Americans. Houston junior centerfielder Michael Bourn was named a second team All-American.
