Canudas Advances to Finals of Ragin' Cajuns Classic
LAFAYETTE, La. - The Southern Miss men's tennis player David Canudas advanced to the finals of the Ragin' Cajuns Classic, defeating Jakub Ilowski of Louisiana-Lafayette, 6-3, 6-7, 6-2. Canudas faces Cory Ross of LSU.

In other action, Nicolas Carteret defeated Ruben Zrihen of UAB, 6-2, 6-3 and lost to David Corrie of Texas-Arlington in the semifinals of the consolation bracket, 6-2, 6-1.

In doubles action, Canudas and Carteret advanced to the finals of the consolation bracket before falling to Cory Ross and Brandon Nicholson of LSU, 9-8.
