Reeves Pleased With Progress
HATTIESBURG, Miss. - With one full week of practice officially in the books, Head Coach Rick Reeves seems to be pleased with the progress of his Lady Eagle team.
"Practice is going very well," Reeves said. "We are pleased with their progression. The players are working hard every day. I think the players retained a lot from last year, so, all we have to do is re-teach a few things."
The Lady Eagles continue daily workouts, 2:30 to 5:30 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, with early morning practices on Saturday's from 9-11 a.m., and on Sunday's from 2-5 p.m.
Southern Miss will hold a controlled scrimmage, Nov. 9, at 3 p.m., against the University of North Alabama.
The Lady Eagles open the regular season Nov. 22, at Hampton, following an exhibition game, Nov. 13 against the Premier Players at 6 p.m.
