Lady Eagles Travel to Nationally Ranked Texas Tech

The Southern Miss women's basketball team travels to Lubbock, Texas, to play No. 14/12 Texas Tech, Sunday, Dec. 16. Tip-off is set for 2:15 p.m., and will be televised locally on the Texas Tech Network.

Southern Miss (4-4) is coming off a 61-43 loss at Grambling State. Victoria Mason was the only Lady Eagle to score in double-figures with 11 points. Mason continues to lead the Golden Eagles in scoring, averaging 12.3 points per game. Sonja Brown leads the team in rebounding, pulling down 8.0 rebounds per game while averaging 3.88 blocks per game, tops in C-USA and 4th in the nation.
