Courtney Blades-Rogers (Softball, 1999-00)

Was a pitcher for the Lady Eagles and Coach Lu Harris in 1999 and 2000 with the team recording a 115-22 record over that span with Blades accounting for 95 of those wins...Among her many accolades, she earned both Conference USA Player and Pitcher of the Year honors...She was the Region 7 Most Outstanding Player and received the Honda Award as the National Softball Player of the Year in 2000...Blades was a 2000 1st team Louisville Slugger/NFCA All-American and finished her career as the NCAA all-time strikeout leader with 1,773...She was also the NCAA Division I career victory leader, single season strikeout leader and single season victory leader...She had 14 career no-hitters, two perfect games in 2000 and led the Lady Eagles to the College World Series in 1999 and 2000...Was named to the Southern Miss Legends Club in 2000.
