A four-year letterwinner from 2004-07 for Coach Jeff Bower, he signed to play under Coach Jeff Bower for the 2003 season where he redshirted . . . Played in 49 total games, making 37 starts in total . . . Started in every game at left tackle beginning in his sophomore season . . . Named to 2004 Conference USA Freshman Team . . . Helped the team to the 2004 New Orleans Bowl (W, 31-10 vs. North Texas) . . . In his first year as a starter in 2005, paved the way for an offense that averaged 349 yards of offense per game . . . 2005 team also made the New Orleans Bowl (W, 31-19 vs. Arkansas State) . . . Set the edge for Damion Fletcher’s breakout 2006 campaign, who finished with 1,388 yards on the ground . . . Earned All-Conference USA Third team honors as Southern Miss captured the East Division Title and advanced to the GMAC Bowl (W, 38-7 vs. Ohio) . . . As a senior in 2007, he was named a team captain and was part of an offense that posted 5,066 yards of total offense, the most by any team in program history at that time . . . He also helped Fletcher rush for 1,586 yards that year which are still the most in program history . . . Named to Conference USA Second team in 2007 . . . Started in the Papajohns.com Bowl (L, 31-21 vs. Cincinnati) . . . Signed to play with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent in 2008 . . . Southern Miss finished 30-21 overall in his four years with a 21-11 mark in Conference USA . . . When playing a starter, Southern Miss was 23-16 overall behind his blocking and held a 16-8 ledger in Conference USA.
