Angela Atterberry-Jackson (Women's Basketball, 1997-00)
She was a four-year letter winner and starter for the Lady Eagles. She earned Second Team All-Conference USA as a senior. She was a member of the C-USA All-Freshman Team. She was named Conference USA Athlete of the Week. She helped Southern Miss advance to the WNIT in 2000. She ranks ninth on the all-time scoring list with 1,249 points. She led the team in scoring her senior season with 17.0 points per game. She also ranks eighth all-time in assists with 337 and sixth all-time in steals with 245. She scored a career-high 30 points against Memphis as a senior. She is one of only five players to score over 1,000 points, grab 500 rebounds and dish out 300 assists and have 200 steals.
