Cochran started as an Account Executive with Southern Miss Athletics in June 2021.

As an Account Executive, he will be responsible for making outbound calls to sell & renew season tickets and Eagle Club memberships. He will also answer inbound calls and assist the Golden Eagle fanbase with their appropriate requests.

Cochran was the Graduate Assistant for Development at Southern Miss from August 2019 to May 2021. During his time as a graduate assistant, he completed his Master of Science in Sport Management.

As the graduate assistant for Development, he oversaw the day-to-day operations of the Student Eagle Club, assisted in Eagle Club responsibilities, and attended events promoting both the Eagle Club and Student Eagle Club. As the President of the Student Eagle Club, he played a big part in raising nearly $60,000 in membership revenue during his two years overseeing one of the most premier student organizations at Southern Miss.

The Waynesboro, Miss. Native also graduated from Southern Miss in May of 2019 with his Bachelor's degree in Sports Management. Cochran also got his Master's in Sport Management from Southern Miss in 2021. He worked as an Athletic Marketing intern, Football Operations Intern, as well as a State Farm College Intern while studying at Southern Miss.
