Kel Hooks joined the Southern Miss ticket office as an account executive in July 2025.
Hooks comes to Southern Miss after working for the Ole Miss Athletics Foundations since January 2024. As an intern working with outbound sales, Hooks was responsible for contacting potential customers to promote ticker sales and develop relationships with various other constituents. He also generated over $5,000 in ticket renewals and nearly $70,000 in new revenue.
Hooks earned his Associate's Degree from Southwest Mississippi before graduating from Ole Miss with a Bachelor of Arts in Sports and Recreation Administration.
