Kate Myles enters her second year with Southern Miss as a athletic communications graduate assistant. She serves the department as sports information director for the Golden Eagles' women's cross country; men's and women's indoor track & field; men's and women's outdoor track & field; and women's volleyball programs.
Prior to joining Southern Miss, Myles worked as a sports information student assistant at Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, Texas. Myles joined the Crusaders' sports information office following three seasons as a student-athlete with UMHB's volleyball program.
The San Antonio, Texas, native earned her bachelor's degree in marketing and mass communications from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in May 2024. She is pursing a master's degree in sport management and a sport security management graduate certificate while enrolled at Southern Miss.
