Jasmine Koonts joined the Southern Miss coaching staff as a graduate assistant in Fall 2020.Â
Koonts enjoyed a successful playing career at Arizona State and later Ohio State, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in sports industry in May 2019. She was also a creative services intern within the athletics department.Â
Other ventures in the volleyball realm included working as a camp counselor for from January to July 2020, providing one-on-one instruction on specific position training, as well as player development from ages 9-18. She was also a coach with TCA Volleyball in Granville, Ohio, coaching 16 and 17-year-olds, from January 2018 to July 2019.
Koonts was previously a retail supervisor at Delaware North Sportservice in Columbus, Ohio, where she managed orders and monitored employee activity in the store, warehouse and at events, among other objectives.
