Julie Butler started as an Assistant Athletic Trainer in the 2018-19 athletic year.
The Wiggins, Miss. native serves as the athletic trainer for soccer and both men's and women's tennis. Butler is in charge of the sport coverage, rehabilitation, evaluation of injuries and referrals for her teams. She also serves as the Summer Athletic Training Student Camp Coordinator, and is the oversight of Physicians ATR visits. She also works as a preceptor for the AT Program and assists the Director with insurance billing processing.
Butler graduated from Southern Miss in 2018 with her Bachelor's in Athletic Training. Prior to that, she earned her Associate of Arts degree in 2013 from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.
