2019 (Redshirt Junior): Played and started in nine games (missed four contests due to injury) and posted 49 tackles (26 solo)...Added 3.5 tackles for loss, forced fumble and fumble recovery....Notched four quarterback hurries...Registered season-high 10 stops against UTSA (11/16) and eight versus Rice (10/26) and seven in the Louisiana Tech (10/19) contest...Preseason All-Conference USA selection.
2018 (Redshirt Sophomore): Rated by PFF College as the highest-graded linebacker in C-USA (86.1), more than five points ahead of the next-closest contender ... Earned Honorable Mention accolades from the league ... Produced an efficient 48 tackles (32 solo), with 10 for loss ... All four of his sacks came against C-USA foes (two against UTEP (11/24), one each versus UTSA (10/20) and UAB (11/10)) ... Also recovered fumbles against North Texas (10/13) and Marshall (11/3)... Had back-to-back weeks of season-high eight tackles against Rice (9/22) and Auburn (9/29) ... Notched a season-high 14 stops against Rice (11/11) with two tackles for loss, a sack, a forced fumble and a quarterback hurry to be named the C-USA Defensive Player of the Week ...
