2024 (Texas State):Â Did not compete due to injury.
2023 (Texas State):Â Spent most of the season out with injury ... returned to play on 4/2 at App State where she got a base hit in her returning at-bat ... had hits in her first three appearances ... played in 11 games with 10 starts at designated player ... had four hits and two RBI ... was walked twice ...batted in her two RBI on 4/8 versus Southern Miss
2022 (Texas State):Â Appeared in and started 56 games in her first season at Texas State after transferring from Furman during the offseason ... slashed.261/.320/.340 in 153 plate appearances as a Bobcat ... finished the season as one of six Bobcat student-athletes to be credited with 40-or-more (40) hits throughout the 2022 season ... her 26 RBI were the fifth most on the team ... her 153 at bats during the campaign were the third most on the squad ... her five doubles on the season were the fourth most on the team ... one of just three student-athletes on the team with multiple triples (2) ... one of six Texas State softball student-athletes with at least one home run (1) on the year ... her 52 total bases were the fourth most on the team ... her four sacrifice flies were the most on the team ... her first hit as a Bobcat was a run-scoring triple in the bottom of the third on Texas State's eight-run win against New Mexico State (2/11) ... followed that performance up with a two-hit, two-RBI game against New Mexico State the following day (2/12) when she clubbed her lone home run on the season ... had two hits and two RBI in Texas State's win at Houston (2/19) ... hit a double against Oregon State (2/13) ... credited with a two-run double against Tulsa (2/27) ... had a streak of three consecutive games played with two RBI ... had two hits and two RBI against Arizona (3/5) ... closed the regular season on a four-game hitting streak ... had a run-scoring hit in Texas State's postseason conference tournament win at South Alabama (5/12) ... had two hits in three trips to the plate against Coastal Carolina (5/14) during the conference tournament.
2021 (Furman):Â Everyday starter in the middle infielder for the 41 game season. Named to the SOCON All-Freshman team and SOCON Academic Honor Roll.
High School:Â All-FACA All-State selection at Newsome High School. Member of the United States U-17 National Team which won the 2019 Pan American Games in Barranquilla, Colombia. Batted .400 with a .538 On base percentage to go 8-0 and earned a berth to the U18 WBSC Women's Softball World Cup. Batted .312 with 17 RBIS during the 2019 season to help Newsome to a district title, regional championship and FHSAA 9A state finals appearance. Hit .500 with a homerun and 7 RBIS going 7-1 in the COVID shortened 2020 season.
Personal:Â Daughter of Lesley and Chad Ginder. Claire is the fourth member of her family to compete in college athletics and grew up around military bases as the daughter of a United States Marine. She has an older brother Zach and younger brothers Cade, Cooper and Greyson.
