Dear Southern Miss Golden Eagle Supporters,
Thank you for your support of Southern Miss Athletics! The continued success of our program depends on the loyal support of individuals like you and we sincerely appreciate all of your contributions.
It is the responsibility of the Southern Miss Athletics Compliance Office to ensure our program's adherence to NCAA, Sun Belt Conference, and University rules and regulations. In other words, we want to ensure we operate with integrity in all that we do. We need your help to reach this goal! Did you know that per NCAA regulations, rules compliance is ultimately a collective responsibility shared by the entire Southern Miss community? Each year, the national media covers stories of student-athletes and prospects that are ruled ineligible as a result of their interactions with alumni, fans and "boosters." You can help Southern Miss avoid these harsh penalties by maintaining an educated and proactive fan base.
To that end, this website is intended as a resource for the entire Southern Miss community; coaches, student-athletes, prospective student-athletes, alumni, and fans. Here, you will find answers to the most frequently asked compliance questions. We invite you to contact the Athletics Compliance Office directly with questions or comments.
Please keep in mind that all interactions between Southern Miss supporters and Golden Eagle coaches, student-athletes and/or prospective student-athletes are governed by NCAA, Conference, and University rules. Therefore, it is important that you contact the Compliance Office before you take any action that may put an individual's eligibility at risk.
