2018-19 (RS Senior): Earned Second-Team All-Conference USA honors ... Started all 33 games and averaged 34.5 minutes ... Broke Dallas Dale's 27-year-old, single-season assists record with 233 ... His 7.2 per game ranked fifth in the nation ... Finished his career with 434 dimes, good for No. 3 all-time despite just two years with the program ... Recorded 65 steals on the year, meaning both him and teammate Cortez Edwards produced four of the top-five such seasons in school history, all over a two-year span ... His backcourt prowess helped lead Southern Miss to boasting the top field goal percentage (47.8), three-point percentage (41.2) and field goal defense (40.4) in C-USA play ... The squad also held the No. 4 mark nationally in assist/turnover ratio (1.6) and No. 14 for assists per game (16.8) and three-point field goal percentage (38.6) ... Averaged 7.6 assists (first) and 2.1 steals (fourth) in league play ... Collected seven 20-point games, including a season-high 23 against Marshall in the C-USA Quarterfinal victory ... 2017-18 (RS Junior): Started all 34 games, scoring double-figures in 27 contests ... Collected 201 assists, which ranked second in program history (most since Dallas Dale's 222 in the 1991-92 season) ... Also boasted 59 steals, which ranks No. 3 for a single season at the school ... Logged 1,207 minutes, another mark that sits at No. 3 in the record books ... Against C-USA opponents, finished fourth in assists (6.0 pg), fifth in steals (1.9 pg) and fifth in assist-turnover ratio (2.3) ... Had 12 dimes against Rust and 11 at FIU ... Averaged 15.0 ppg and shot 43.1 percent from the field with 5.9 assists per game ... Helped guide the Golden Eagles to their best-shooting season of Doc Sadler's first four years at the helm ... Oklahoma State (2015-16): Griffin started 15 games for the Cowboys as a sophomore (2015-16). He had four double-figure scoring games, with three of them coming against Kansas State. His best performance was his first against the Wildcats, scoring 18 points on 5-of-9 field goal shooting and a 7-for-8 mark at the line. He also had 10 assists in the Big 12 Championships opener.
Oklahoma State (2014-15): As a freshman, the 5-foot-10 Griffin was fifth on the squad with 34 assists.
High School: Decorated recruit in high school, including being named the Large Schools Player of the Year by the New Orleans Times-Picayune.
Personal: His older brother, Bo, played at New Orleans and was the 2007 Sun Belt Player of the Year.
