Immediately became one of the team[apos]s two primary starting linebackers opposite Alan Howze ... Started 11 games and appeared in all 12 ... Did not start the Marshall game ... Tallied 55 tackles (28 solo, 27 assisted) which was good for fourth on the team ... Had 2.5 tackles for loss with one interception coming against Boise State ... The return went for three yards ... Forced a pair of fumbles Junior College
Played the last two seasons for Geoff Jones at Santa Ana College, where he posted 174 career tackles to go along with 10 sacks, as well as a fumble recovery that he returned 77 yards for a touchdown in the two-year stint ... Was an All-East Conference selection twice and was his team[apos]s defensive Most Valuable Player his sophomore campaign Prep
Played for Eric Patton at San Clemente High School where he tallied 130 career tackles with 10 sacks as he earned three varsity letters there ... Was an All-County and All-Conference selection his senior campaign
