Cross Country Travels to Florida State Pre-Regional

HATTIESBURG -- Southern Miss cross country travels to the Florida State Pre-Regional in Tallahassee on Friday morning. The 6K race is scheduled for 8:20 a.m. at Apalachee Regional Park.Â

The Golden Eagle racers include Lexi Cooper, Corinne Croy, Hayley Datema, Indy Grajalez, Aiden Harrand, Cadence Lapp, Presley Miller, Addison Rainey, and Olivia Smith. Southern Miss is coming off a solid showing at the Battle for New Orleans on Sept. 4, finishing second behind Tulane. Harrand led the Golden Eagle bunch in the 4,000-meter race with a time of 14:04 for a third-place finish. Bates, Croy, and Rainey all finished in the top-15 in New Orleans.Â
This is the final September race for the Golden Eagles before they travel to the 38th Annual Chile Pepper Festival. The race will take place at Agri Park in Fayetteville, Ark. on Saturday, Oct. 3.Follow PTTiming for live results in Tallahassee.Â
