Football Signs Home-and-Home Series with UConn

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Southern Miss announced Tuesday the signing of a home-and-home football series with UConn, starting with a game set in Hattiesburg for the 2026 season.
The Golden Eagles and Huskies will open the series at Carlisle-Faulkner Field at M.M. Roberts Stadium next fall on Sept. 19 and will complete the two-game set in Storrs, Conn., in a Nov. 3, 2029, matchup.
Next year's contest marks the first ever meeting between the schools in football.

Sept. 19 – UConn (H)
Sept. 26 – Tulane (A)
