
Southern Miss Announces Hiring of Robert Krause as Assistant Athletics Director for Ticket Operations and Sales

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Robert Krause has been named Southern Miss Assistant Athletics Director for Ticket Operations and Sales and begins his role on Monday, Aug. 4.
We're thrilled to welcome Robert Krause as our new Assistant Athletic Director for Ticket Operations, said Southern Miss Deputy Athletics Director/Chief Revenue Officer Spencer Bridges. Robert brings a wealth of knowledge and a diverse background in athletic ticketing that will immediately benefit our department. His familiarity with our ticketing systems and his commitment to fan experience will help elevate our service and operational efficiency as we continue to grow.
Krause comes to Southern Miss after serving as the Director of Ticket Operations at South Dakota State University since July 2023.
With a diverse background in ticket operations and analytics, Krause previously managed these areas for the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League from October 2021 to July 2023 and coordinated ticket operations at Middle Tennessee State University from October 2019 to October 2021.
His earlier experience includes various roles with the Nashville Predators, where responsibilities spanned ticket operations and sales, as well as customer service positions at Ryman Hospitality Properties and the Nashville Sounds Baseball Club.
Krause began career activities as an apprentice with the Omaha Storm Chasers and held administrative and retail positions during early professional development.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Public Relations from Western Washington University and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies at South Dakota State University.
