
Southern Miss Announces 2025 Football Promotional Schedule

The home schedule included non-conference foes Mississippi State (Aug. 30), Jackson State (Sept. 6) and Jacksonville State (Sept. 27), while also welcoming App State (Sept. 13), ULM (Oct. 25), Texas State (Nov. 15) and Troy (Nov. 29) in Sun Belt action.
Single-game tickets will go on sale to Eagle Club members and season ticket holders on Wednesday, July 16 at 10 a.m. Tickets will go live to the general public on Wednesday, July 30 at 10 a.m. More information and links will follow at a later date. Below are the promotions for each home game. Student promotions, more game day giveaways, and live musical acts continue to be booked for home games during the upcoming season at Spirit Park and they will be announced at a later time. Additional information on individual promotions and ticket promotions will be announced closer to the specific game week.Â
Mississippi State - Season Opener
Join the Golden Eagles as Charles Huff makes his coaching debut at Southern Miss. The nationally televised game will air on ESPN at 11 a.m. The Golden Eagles are hosting the Bulldogs for the first time since the 2015 season.Â
Jackson State - Scout Day
The Pride of Mississippi and the Sonic Boom of the South will both be on the field during halftime, and fans can expect to be entertained with the music stylings of both. Along with nationally renowned bands, the Golden Eagles will be hosting Scout Day. Local troops are invited to participate in game day activities.Â
App State - 601 Night
The Sun Belt opener has been dubbed 601 Night as the Golden Eagles plan to recognize the community and Pine Belt area. Southern Miss will also be participating in the Extra Yard for Teachers campaign, which elevates the teaching profession by inspiring and empowering teachers. The annual All-South Marching Band game will be held against the Mountaineers as local marching bands are invited to join the Pride of Mississippi in pregame and halftime activities.
Jacksonville State - Kids Takeover Day
All Seymour Sidekicks will have free admission to the final non-conference home game. Seymour's Sidekicks will have plenty of activities to participate in at Spirit Park, as well as in-game. Area youth athletic teams, programs, and organizations are also invited to join in on the Kids Takeover of The Rock. Fans are encouraged to wear BLACK.
ULM - Homecoming
The Golden Eagles welcome the Warhawks for its 88th homecoming game. The annual homecoming parade will be held prior to kickoff at The Rock. All Southern Miss alumni are invited home to The Rock to celebrate with the Golden Eagles.Â
Texas State - Military Appreciation Day
The school's annual military appreciation game that includes recognition of all the branches of the military will be recognized throughout the game and at halftime. Military vehicles and National Guard members will participate in Eagle Walk. The game will also welcome all M-Club Hall of Fame members as Southern Miss is set to recognize its newest inductees during an in-game presentation.
Troy - Senior Day
Southern Miss will honor its 2025 senior class during pregame. This matchup will also act as Fan Appreciation Day with Southern Miss Athletics showing its appreciation for Golden Eagle fans throughout the game.
