Dennis, McAda Named Sun Belt Conference Pair of the Week

NEW ORLEANS – Beach volleyball's sophomore duo Sadie McAda and Laurel Dennis earned Pair of the Week honors from the Sun Belt Conference after their 3-1 performance last week.
McAda, a native of Pleasanton, Texas, and Dennis, a native of Gulfport, Miss., have paired together in all nine matches for the Golden Eagles this season at the second position. The pair owns a team-best 6-3 record this season and finished last week 3-1 at the FIU Invite.
Over the two-day tournament, Dennis and McAda defeated two ranked pairings with a three-set win over No. 17 FIU and a two-set triumph over No. 12 Florida Atlantic. The pair also grabbed a two-set win over Palm Beach Atlantic.
The duo's only setback on the weekend was a two-set loss to Utah, falling 21-19 in both sets.
