Zayne Palomino Earns Sun Belt Weekly Honors

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Zayne Palomino won the high jump with a clearance of 2.20 meters to earn Sun Belt Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week honors. He contributed one of two first-place finishes and helped lead the Golden Eagle men to a third-place team finish at the South Alabama Indoor Invitational on February 2nd in Birmingham. His performance tied for his second-highest jump, shy of his career-best of 2.22 meters.
