Softball's First Pitch Time Versus Jackson State Moved to 4 p.m.

HATTIESBURG, Miss.-Southern Miss Softball's home game against Jackson State, originally scheduled for 6 p.m., has been adjusted to a 4 p.m. first pitch.

The Golden Eagles (2-7, 0-0 Sun Belt) will take on the Lady Tigers (7-1, SWAC) Wednesday evening at the Southern Miss Softball Complex, as the team looks to build on their home success. Southern Miss opened its home slate with a victory over Ole Miss last week in the first midweek contest of the season.

In addition, the program will honor Southern Miss faculty and staff as part of Faculty and Staff Appreciation Night. Discounted tickets are available for faculty and staff to attend the game and be recognized for their contributions to the university.
