Southern Miss Athletics Announces Turkey Toss Cornhole Tournament

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Southern Miss Athletics is hosting its inaugural Turkey Toss cornhole tournament ahead of the Golden Eagles' football game against Troy on Saturday, Nov. 29. The winning team will receive a trophy, custom-made Southern Miss cornhole boards and an on-field recognition during the game.
Registration is now open to fill the 64-team field. Each team will consist of two competitors with matches taking place in Spirit Park. Exact start times will be determined on Monday, Nov. 17, after kickoff times have been announced.
Registration costs $150 for members of the public while students and Southern Miss football season ticket holders can register for just $100. Each team will receive two t-shirts for their competitors to wear during their games and four tickets to Saturday's game. Registration will close on Nov. 18 or when all 64 slots are filled.
