Southern Miss 2024 Women’s Cross Country Schedule Released

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss women's cross country program takes on another challenging slate this fall as they are slated to participate in at least five meets.
"I'm really excited about the upcoming season," said Southern Miss cross country coach Nick Gibson. "We bring in a solid group of ladies, as well as return a few key pieces from last year. I know our young group of ladies are eager to see how competitive we can be this season."
The Golden Eagles open the season at the Azalea City Classic in Mobile, Ala., Friday, Aug.30, as it will be the first of six scheduled races in the fall.
The next stop is Huntsville, Ala., for The Southern Showcase, Fri, Sept. 13, and hosted by Jacksonville State. There will then be a Pre-Regional Meet at Tallahassee, Fla., Fri., Sept. 27, before returning to Alabama and Tuscaloosa, for the Crimson Classic, Friday, Oct. 18.
Southern Miss then participates in the Sun Belt Championship, Friday, Oct. 18, at Foley, Ala., before returning to Tallahassee for the NCAA South Regional, Friday, Nov. 15.
