Outdoor Track and Field Travels to Starkville for the Bulldog Relays This Weekend

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – While the Bulldog Relays officially get underway Friday and Saturday in Starkville for the Southern Miss Outdoor Track and Field squad, the men's weight throw kicks off the meet Thursday with the only event.
This will be the second event of the spring for the outdoor program. They collected six first-places, three for the men and three for the women, at the South Alabama Invite last season.
On the women's side, Jada McDougle finished first in the 100 meters with a time of 11.59, while also enjoying a leg of the 4x100 relay team, along with Trinity Flagler, Savi'a Varnell and Trinity Benson, who captured a win with a 44.27. Emme Bates also won an individual title with a 2:12.26 in the 800 meters.
The men also produced event champions in the 110-meter hurdles by Warren Williams with a time of 14.16, while Elijah Bates won the 200-meter race by enjoying a time of 21.54 and Austin Borne collected a firsts place in the 1500 meters with a 4:05.57.
