Southern Miss Men's Tennis Announces 2025 Spring Schedule

HATTIESBURG, Miss. — The University of Southern Mississippi men's tennis team has officially released its 2025 spring schedule.
The season begins Friday, Jan. 17, in Orlando, Florida, where the Golden Eagles take on the University of Central Florida at 4 p.m. The team remains in Orlando for a matchup against Florida Gulf Coast University on Saturday, Jan. 18, at 2 p.m.
Southern Miss will host its home opener on Friday, Jan. 24, against the University of Alabama at Birmingham at 2 p.m. at the Southern Miss Tennis Complex. Other home matches include contests against Nicholls State University (Feb. 16), Alcorn State University (March 12), and Sun Belt Conference opponents such as Georgia State University (March 22), Troy University (April 5), and the University of South Alabama (April 6).
On the road, the Golden Eagles will face Jackson State University (Feb. 1), the University of New Orleans (Feb. 8), and the University of Arkansas (March 2). They'll also compete against Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge (March 9) and conclude the regular season with matches in Virginia against Old Dominion University (April 12) and James Madison University (April 13).
The spring schedule includes the Sun Belt Conference Championships, set for April 18-20 in Rome, Georgia. The team also has its sights set on postseason play, with the NCAA Regionals scheduled at campus sites in early May and the NCAA Team Championships at Texas Tech in mid-May.
