Fan Advisory for Saturday’s Homecoming Parade

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss Homecoming Parade rolls at 1 p.m., this Saturday, Oct. 19, altering potential entrances to campus for fans that afternoon looking to tailgate prior to the Arkansas State game later that evening.
The annual parade starts at the corner of Hardy Street and Ross Blvd. and continues east on Hardy Street until it gets to the main gate at campus. The route ventures north onto East Memorial Dr. before turning east onto Southern Miss Drive. It then heads north on Eagle Walk and goes under the stadium before taking a left onto Ray Guy Way and ending up at Spirit Park.
The campus parade route will be closed by the Southern Miss Police Department beginning at 12 noon and will continue to be closed until 2 p.m., while the Hattiesburg Police Department will shutdown Hardy Street from Ross Blvd. to the main part of campus at that time as well. Fans are asked to cease loading and unloading on campus before 1 p.m.
Fans wishing to gain access to campus during this time are asked to enter from either the north or west side.
Game time against the Red Wolves is 6 p.m., and tickets are still available by going online at SouthernMissTickets.com, by calling 1-800-844-TICK (8425) or visiting the Pat Ferlise Ticket Office weekdays during normal business hours.
