Cal Poly 3- Southern Miss 2 (19-25, 25-23, 25-21, 23-25, 11-15)
Southern Miss found itself down one after the Mustangs took the opening set but responded to what became a back-and-forth battle.Â

The Mustangs again fought in the third set, but Dalogullari's service ace reclaimed the lead, which the team held onto as she later closed the set out with a kill for a 25-21 victory.
Cal Poly reversed the momentum, crawling back from an early deficit and forcing a fifth set with a 25-23 win. Both teams had an opportunity to take the game tied at ten in the deciding set, and the Mustangs capitalized, ending the game on a four-point run.
