Football Fanfest Moved Up Due to Threat of Extreme Heat

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Due to the threat of extreme heat, the annual Southern Miss football Fanfest has been moved up to 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 19, at M.M. Roberts Stadium at Carlisle-Faulkner Field.
Fans are still encouraged to take in the Golden Eagles' final practice of 2023 fall camp from the South End Zone but will no longer be able to access the field or players following the conclusion of the scrimmage.
Third-year head coach Will Hall will address the assembled crowd at approximately 10:15 a.m. in the Giannini Touchdown Terrace, located on the third level of the South End Zone. Admission to the event is free and concessions will be available for purchase.
The season opens at home Saturday, Sept. 2, against Alcorn State and tickets are still available for that game as well as the final five home games this fall. Fans can contact purchase home season or single game tickets at SouthernMissTickets.com, by calling 1-800-844-TICK (8425) or visit the Pat Ferlise Ticket Office on campus weekdays during normal business hours.
