Men's Tennis Earns ITA Academic Awards

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced its annual Division I men's tennis awards on Monday morning. The Southern Miss men's tennis team earned All-Academic Team honors and six Golden Eagles were named ITA Scholar Athletes.
The six Golden Eagles to earn individual honors included Antoine Audrain, Taras Ignatiuk, Pawin Jirapoomdaje, Pasawee Reansuwong, Olimjon Nabiev and Saheb Sodhi. Audrain, Jirapoomdaje and Nabiev all recorded a 4.0 GPA to be named to the President's List. Ignatiuk, Reansuwong and Sodhi garnered Dean's List honors, while all six student-athletes posted above a 3.00 GPA.
To be named an ITA Scholar Athlete, student-athletes must maintain a 3.50 GPA. To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, individual teams must have a team GPA of at least 3.20.
