HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- Morgan Brown has been named Southern Miss' newest assistant soccer coach after head coach Mohammed El-Zare announced the hiring on Tuesday afternoon.
"What stood out with Morgan is that she has outstanding work ethic and passion to serving others," El-Zare said. "She gets that she has to wear many hats, which is required to be successful in our profession. I'm extremely excited to have her join the family."
Prior to joining the Southern Miss staff, Brown served as an assistant coach at West Alabama since the 2019 season. "I would personally like to thank Coach Mo and Jeremy McClain for the opportunity that's been given to me," Brown said. "It's a great honor to work at this institution and be able to help lead this women's soccer program into the future. Southern Miss has a rich history, winning tradition, and real authenticity. I very much look forward to meeting the players on their return from summer break and getting started - SMTTT!"
