HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss softball team had its Tuesday contest at Mississippi Valley State washed out due to rain last evening.
The contest will not be made up.
The Golden Eagles (8-1) return to action at home this weekend when they play host to the Hub City Challenge. The Golden Eagles will play Yale at 2 p.m., Friday, and then again at 11 a.m., Saturday, before also taking on UAPB at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, and finishing out the weekend with Nicholls in a Sunday 5 p.m., tilt.
