Football Announces Change to 2024 Season Opener

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – A change has been made to the 2024 Southern Miss football schedule.
The Golden Eagles' season-opening game at Ohio State, Aug. 31, has been canceled. Southern Miss now opens next season on the same date at Kentucky.
Both Southern Miss and Ohio State mutually agreed to cancel the game to modify their respective schedules.
